Unique handmade traditional style bow top caravan. This caravan was built in 2014 by a master joiner from plans for a traditional bow top caravan and using the original axle and springs from an old gypsy cart.
This caravan is in excellent condition and includes includes shafts, steps, chimney, hay rack and external storage box. The treated canvas was replaced in July 2017 and is lined in the traditional manner with Axminster carpet. The unique paintwork on the outside is hand painted with lovely details.
Inside, the wagon is beautifully decorated and fitted with a pull out double bed with storage or room for a single bed underneath, storage cupboards, fitted carpets and a queenie stove. More information and photos are available on request.

Beautiful piece of history by wheelwright John Lee who was born 1820. This carriage is from mid century 1800's, horse drawn four wheeled Victorian wagonette, spindle back.
Black with red detail and burgundy upholstery to seating. Coachman's foot bell, holders for carriage lamps, handle to wagonette door. Stamp clearly showing in gold. In working order and has been used in the horse drawn wedding industry.
Some paint wear which is to be expected as this item has not had any cosmetics to date. Comes with swan neck shafts, fit 14.2hh to 15.2hh. Collection or can arrange for delivery at extra cost TBA.
