Harness

Q. Can you make harness to fit a Shetland pony?
A. Harness in shetland size is not a problem, in fact we do quite a lot for shetlands and minis as our harness isn't just made smaller but all the fittings, strapping etc... are scaled down for a perfect and not bulky fit.

Q. Can you make pairs harness?
A. All our harness is available in pair format. There is also the option of buying a "singles kit" with a set of pair harness. This enables you to use your harness for single and pair and is cheaper than having to buy both as the duplicated parts are only supplied once ( eg the bridles  ).  If you are interested in this option let me know which type of harness you are interested in and I will quote you a price.
To order pair harness please fill in 2 order forms one with each ponies details and state clearly that you want pair harness not 2 sets of single.

Q. Can you supply harness to the USA?
A. Yes we do export to America. Delivery to the US takes approximately 5 days and is charged at cost.  I can give you a definite quote when I know which type of harness you require and the size of your horse. ( A 5kg parcel costs £38.00 roughly 60 US dollars )  Payments must be made in £ sterling.

Q. What are snapshakles and squares on collar?
A. The softweave web harness can be made black with a coloured outer part. on all or some of the straps as required. The coated harness can have a coloured webbing backing put on the nose band and brow band. This would give a coloured edge to these straps. to extricate the horse from the cart in an emergency even when the straps are pulled tight. Snapshakles are the same as those used in sailing. They can join the traces to the collar and the back strap to the pad.  They have a spring loaded pin that can be pulled to release the joint even under tension.  Square fittings are used on the trace to collar connection. They consist of two square parts the trace passes through the two parts to form a tidy unobtrusive joint

Q. My colour scheme is green is it possible to include green on the harness?
A. The softweave web harness can be made  with a coloured outer part on all or some of the straps as required. The coated harness can have a coloured webbing backing put on the nose band and brow band. This would give a coloured edge to these straps. If you are interested in this option, please let me know the details of colour and which type of harness you are interested in then I will quote you a price.
