Great little box still waiting for it's new home. Had a new MOT in September 2023 and hasn't done any miles since but has been started regularly. Vauxhall Movano 3.5ton horsebox, 7ft internal height stalled for two.
Great little horsebox, drives well and horses like travelling in it. It will take up to 1x 16.2hh or 2 smaller with a payload of about 1240kg. Storage above the cab and unusually has side and rear ramps which makes loading and unloading simple. Had new front tyres in June 2023 and can be driven on a normal driving licence.
Only selling as we have 2 big horses to transport now so had to move up to a box with a bigger payload. Looking for in the region of £4,000 all sensible offers considered.

1998 Ford Transit Horsebox
1998 Ford Transit, low mileage of 69,349 miles. This brilliant Ifor Williams Transit 3.5t horsebox for sale. Very easy to drive, diesel, power steering, 5 speed manual gearbox, can be driven on your standard car licence. Side and rear unload, jockey door, lights in the horse area, partition, also comes with breach bars if wanted to take the partition out, large storage area above the Luton.
12 months MOT, carried 16.2hh's, viewing window from cab to horses. Perfect ladies box, ramps are very easy and lightweight. New starter motor, timing belt, engine service, auxiliary belt, new battery tray, brake calliper, new brake fluid, new light bulbs on the rear, welding work.
We also replaced the panels on the cab as they had gone a bit rusty so has had, 2x front wing panels, 2x inner wheel arch panels, 2x sill panels. Got receipt's of the work done. Body can also be transferred to a newer cab, etc... If needed at any point. It's been a pleasure to own, always starts and has proved to be very reliable. LL52 area.
