Leyland Daf 45.160 horsebox. Wilma is a spacious 7.5t Leyland Daf with a good size living carrying 2 large horses or 3 ponies. She's recently flown through her plating with no advisories therefore is due on 31 March 2025. Excellent payload as 5.7t unladen.
Wilma is a super runner and has only covered just over 200,000 miles. She is well maintained, recently having new front tyres and new master cylinder and wheel cylinders for rear brakes. The horse section is spacious with lots of headroom even for the tallest of horses. There are no tack lockers restricting space or provide climbing opportunities!
The living sleeps 4 with plenty of space & headroom above the cab and the bench seat folding down into a bed. She has a built in tackroom equipped with 2 saddle racks and 4 bridle holders with plenty of space to convert into a toilet room when required (comes with portaloo!). This lorry is very easy to drive and the ramp is easily lifted by the smallest of people.

This is an incredibly reliable lorry. Starts first time every time. A real work horse! We've got a smaller lorry now so need to let this one go. Went through it's MOT and is just sat at the moment so it's available!
The living area has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Carries three large horses comfortably. There's also the option to travel 2 in a herringbone configuration. Personally I've never needed to do this and I've had a big 17.2hh.
Two ramps makes this a versatile truck. Floor is solid, horse area is rubber matted and in good repair. Body work reflects age but this lorry has a lot of life. A great lorry at a great price.

Great little box still waiting for it's new home. Had a new MOT in September 2023 and hasn't done any miles since but has been started regularly. Vauxhall Movano 3.5ton horsebox, 7ft internal height stalled for two.
Great little horsebox, drives well and horses like travelling in it. It will take up to 1x 16.2hh or 2 smaller with a payload of about 1240kg. Storage above the cab and unusually has side and rear ramps which makes loading and unloading simple. Had new front tyres in June 2023 and can be driven on a normal driving licence.
Only selling as we have 2 big horses to transport now so had to move up to a box with a bigger payload. Looking for in the region of £4,000 all sensible offers considered.

1998 Ford Transit, low mileage of 69,349 miles. This brilliant Ifor Williams Transit 3.5t horsebox for sale. Very easy to drive, diesel, power steering, 5 speed manual gearbox, can be driven on your standard car licence. Side and rear unload, jockey door, lights in the horse area, partition, also comes with breach bars if wanted to take the partition out, large storage area above the Luton.
12 months MOT, carried 16.2hh's, viewing window from cab to horses. Perfect ladies box, ramps are very easy and lightweight. New starter motor, timing belt, engine service, auxiliary belt, new battery tray, brake calliper, new brake fluid, new light bulbs on the rear, welding work.
We also replaced the panels on the cab as they had gone a bit rusty so has had, 2x front wing panels, 2x inner wheel arch panels, 2x sill panels. Got receipt's of the work done. Body can also be transferred to a newer cab, etc... If needed at any point. It's been a pleasure to own, always starts and has proved to be very reliable. LL52 area.

2022 Vauxhall Movano Horsebox
3.5 ton coach built 2 staller, reg DY72 FOA, Vauxhall Movano, first reg 15-09-2022. Miles 1,287. The van was previously owned by a PLG company (Rentokil) and received damage to the roof, recorded as cat S, which was removed for the horse. MAN Horsebox
For sale our old but reliable MAN 7.5 ton horse box. Just because she's old don't let that put you off, she may not be the best looking but she has low mileage for her age, still plenty to give. She has never let us down, starts first time and is a lovely drive (just listen to that engine).
Stall for 3 ponies or two large horses. There is also a camera so you can watch your horses as you drive. As one of our horses is a big fatty we replaced all the flooring throughout and replaced the ramp. Still being used but not as much as she should be (that's the only reason for selling). There is a small living area which sleeps 3 people but is in need of a bit of love, has a small gas hob. There is a sink but we took it out (easy for buyer to install) it also has a cassette toilet.

Solid partitions in the horse area with skirts, breach bars front and back and padding all around, rubber floor and a very handy shelf at the back for additional storage. Fan that really helps to keep the horses cool in hot weather, a camera and a light. There are no lockers in the horse area.
Spacious living with a bed above cab and table and chairs converts to a bed. Sink, hob, fridge, electrical hook up. Lots of storage cupboards including wardrobe and tack cupboard and will include a chemical toilet.
