Privately owned in the same home since 10 months old. Otis has been broken and is riding away nicely, he takes any rider on board and is well behaved, he is young however and needs further schooling to get him to his best.
He has been out to local shows and was very well behaved. He has had young riders on board as young as 10 cantering in open fields without any problems, he has never been known to buck/bolt or rear etc. He can sometimes be a bit stubborn when your starting off and he has to be told to walk on..apart from this he takes everything into his stride and is an easy going uncomplicated pony. Otis is extremely well handled and has a mature head on his shoulders, he is never spooky or silly, is very level headed. Otis is great when being lunged and we have found he has a good jump and seems to enjoy it so would be ideal to get him more into jumping. Otis is excellent to catch and handle on the ground, Good with the farrier, goes bare foot with good feet. Otis is excellent with traffic hacks alone and in company, he is Clean limbed and straight moving, would make a lovely whp. He is a kind easy going pony ready to have some fun and make someone a fantastic summer project.
He is excellent when in the stable, however will live out all year round with no problems. He is excellent to load and travels well. He is wormed up to date has had his feet trimmed. This pony is a good safe all rounder that has lovely straight paces and would do a nice dressage test, He would also make a good safe PC pony so if you are looking for a safe straight family pony for everyone to ride this is your pony. Miniature heavy gypsy cob colt, this is very well made cob, will not make any bigger than 12.2hh. This is a proper little block of a cob. Double mane, good head, short backed, little stumps of legs and good feather coming and a thick tail. He is 8 months old.
