Saffron, 15.3hh Riding Mare
Sad sale of this super talented little rising 6 year old mare. The Good Bits: She is young, always been fit and well, fully passported, wormed, vaccinated, etc... to date. She has had a very varied start to her education participating in sponsored rides, low level dressage, showjumping and ODE's as well as hunting. Saffron is ridden in a straight happy mouth snaffle and is never strong or fizzy, even at the back of the hunting field you could pull her up with your little finger. She has some amazing paces and serious scope showjumping and does this with Ease. She is good to shoe, clip, worm, travel, etc... and is not a spooky silly horse. She will happily live in or out, is good to catch and has no vices.
The iffy bits: Saffron can be tricky to hack on her own from time to time, not always and only ever the initial getting out of the front gate, once she is out she is fine. I find just dropping your reins and sitting giving her no reaction for 30-60 seconds she normally just gets bored sighs and strolls on out. Saffron was only backed and broken when she was 4 1/2 years old, therefore she can come across a tad green for her age, on occasion if you really put the pressure on and she doesn't understand, she will buck and occasionally show nappy behaviour.
I purchased Saffron unbroken as a project to event myself, however my current eventer has broken his leg and the vets bill and serious rehab work with him do not allow me the time time and money to invest in Saffron any longer. Saffron is a kind and affectionate horse but does require an experienced and confident rider to enable her to grow in her education. I personally feel either a dressage or a SJ home would be best suited to her, in the right hands and with a strong one on one relationship Saffron would make a super horse but I am saddened that I cannot offer this to her. 5* experienced homes only please.

Beautiful chestnut 6 year old trotter x mare for sale. Pat is not your typical chestnut mare, she has a very sweet and affectionate nature both on the ground and ridden. She has a get up and go attitude and thrives on hard work.
Pat will give you 200% every time and is on form every ride, she never misses a beat. She rides out in the heaviest of traffic, 100% traffic and bomb proof and will ride out alone and in company. Pat truly is an excellent all rounder, she's easy on the mouth and leg and has excellent transitions and paces.
Would also do fantastic in all aspects of driving. Sad sale due to family commitments as I am not able to give the time and attention she truly deserves. Pat is fantastic mare and unfortunately is not being used to her full potential. Strictly no time wasters please.
