Best suited as lead rein or happy hack to follow another horse as on her own she can decide she'd just rather not move (yes we have even tried dangling a carrot on a stick in front of her!). You can get her going but would rather be up front about what she can be like. However to follow she will canter in open spaces without getting strong or silly.
Regularly hacked by small 8 year old girl who follows behind mum and her horse. Perfect to handle and deal with on the ground, the children do everything with her on a daily basis. Hi there I have a New Forest pony, he's 4 in May. This is a sad sale no fault of his own just looking for something my daughter can ride as she's new to this. I've had him since he was a year old, loves kids, scratches all day lol.
He's meant to make 13.2hh think he's almost there with that. He will make a great kids pony, he's up to date with wormer and had hoof trimmed, but dose needs injections as I've moved yards and not got round to this. He has been lightly backed as you can see in photos, thanks.

She's fab to hack and seen a lot of the world so never spooky. She's been to clinics, local shows, farm rides. She's a chunky girl and in previous home she was a small adults first horse and she really looked after her, all history known. Nellie, 13.2hh Mare
Nellie is a 13.2/3hh to finish at 14.2hh cob mare, she's 4 years old. I bought Nellie in an awful state, she'd been tethered and still had ropes on when I picked her up. I've had Nellie's feet done, wormed, passported, started her vaccinations. I've also clipped her although she wasn't keen and I didn't want to sedate her so it's not the best clip but her coat was a mess.
I planned to bring her on and produce but she's proving too much for me on a yard on my own, I need a helper and I haven't got this with 3 young children. She needs more handling around her head area, will pick all 4 feet up. Had rugs on also now. she's had tack on and I've laid on her but no further I'm being as honest as I can.

13.2hh mare, 7 years old. Me and my girls are completely devastated that we are having to do this but we are losing our livery spot due to the livery yard closing and going onto a different venture. My girls have done everything with our special little girl, she is an absolute sweetheart, great jump, very simple and easy. Works in a great outline and has done many dressage tests. She has been to lots of local shows and always behaved beautifully.
We put our fantastic girl in foal to a beautiful heavy cob, slightly bigger, with hope that my youngest girl could produce and keep and be her heart horse. After her foal she would love to return to ridden work or be a broodmare again.
She really is a great pony so this really is very devastating for us as a family. No vet history or problems with this mare. She is cooking nicely.
