Dragon Driving Terms and Conditions

Harness

All prices listed in this catalogue are correct at time of print. We do, however reserve the right to alter prices at any time we deem necessary.
All prices listed are in £ Sterling and payment should be made in this form
Prices are inclusive of post and package charges within mainland Britain. Postage to other destinations will be charged to the customer at cost.
All orders must be accompanied by a deposit of 25% or the full amount if under £100.
Balance is due on all orders on completion and no goods will be released until payment has been made in full.
QUOTES: We are happy to give a quote on any item not listed in the catalogue, any such quote being valid for one calendar month from date given.
DELIVERY: Notification of non delivery of any goods must be made in writing.
INCORRECT FIT on made to measure goods will be free of charge if our error. If due to incorrect measurements being given by the customer a small charge may be made for alterations.
Note: strapping widths given are accurate to approximately ±2mm

Stud

Mares must be swabbed and have their hind shoes removed prior to arrival at Dragon Driving. They must be left with a serviceable head collar and lead rope.
Dragon Driving reserve the right to not cover mares that they deem unsuitable through health, condition or temperament. It is the responsibility of the mare owner to inform Dragon Driving of any vices, dietary requirements, handling quirks, etc...
Any mare left at livery with Dragon Driving is left at the owners risk and any unforeseen expenses will be paid by the mare owner ( eg vet, farrier, etc... )
Any equipment left at Dragon Driving is at the owners risk ( eg trailer, tack, etc... )
Full payment for stud fee, livery & any other expenses must be made prior to removal of the mare.
If the mare is not in foal she may be returned with no further stud fee payable. Livery, etc... will be charged as before.
Registration of the foal is the responsibility of the mare owner.
A completed BAPSH service certificate will be provided.
Samples for DNA testing will be provided free if required.
Also deposit is required on booking.

Adverts

Single item adverts

Each single item advert is for one item only.
An item is a horse, cart, pair of horses, complete turnout, etc... all being sold as 1 package. If more than one item is entered onto an advert only the first item will be shown. Multiple item and business adverts are available.
If the item consists of more than 1 part, eg mare and foal or pair of horses, the whole advert will be marked sold should any individual part be sold.

If your advert is too generic to list the first item only it will be automatically be transferred to a multi item advert and will remain online for 1 month only. You will receive an email after 3 weeks asking if you want to renew the advert.

Web addresses are not available on single item adverts except where they are purely generic such as youtube, allbreedpedigree, etc... Personal and business web address's will be removed from text and images.

You will be emailed after 12 weeks from your last contact to ensure that the item is still for sale. If no reply is received after a further a week that advert will be removed.
Adverts where Dragon Driving has not been given an email address will be removed 12 weeks after last contact.
Adverts are displayed until sold, provided you contact us to amend or renew within 12 weeks.

Multiple Item Adverts

Each multiple item advert advert is for items that are basically all the same eg coloured yearling colts.  If you advertise a list of different items then your advert will be transferred to a standard advert and only the first item will be shown. If the advert is too vague to transfer to a standard advert then the advert will only go into the categories for which all the items on the advert apply.

Web addresses are not available on multi item adverts except where they are purely generic such as youtube, allbreedpedigree, etc... Personal and business web address's will be removed from text and images.

You will be emailed after 1 week before renewal is due to offer an advert renewal. If you do not respond your advert will be removed on or after the renewal date.

Business Adverts

Business adverts cost £5 per month payable monthly, quarterly, half
yearly or annually.  
You can have plenty of text and up to 2 photos as well as a website address (this is not a direct link)
You can change your advert whenever you wish for no extra charge
Trade adverts are linked to from a randomly changing ordered list on all the "for sale" pages ( not all adverts are shown on all the pages )

You will be emailed after 1 week before renewal is due to offer an advert renewal. If you do not respond your advert will be removed on or after the renewal date.

Weblink banners (125x125)

Website banner links cost £10 per month payable monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually.
Banner adverts are on a randomly changing ordered list on all the "for sale" pages ( not all adverts are shown on all the pages )

Stud and wedding carriages Business Adverts

Stud and wedding carriage services adverts cost £25 per year payable annually.
You can have plenty of text and up to 2 photos
You can change your advert whenever you wish for no extra charge
Stud and wedding adverts are linked to from a randomly changing ordered list on all the "for sale" pages ( not all adverts are shown on all the pages )
You will be emailed a reminder when your payment is due and if payment is not received your advert will be removed.

All Adverts

All adverts are individually checked before being uploaded and may be amended for spelling mistakes and punctuation. Adverts containing words in capitals will be amended to lower case.

If you are are selling in any way as a trader, breeder or for profit it is a legal requirement that you declare this on the advert placement form. If you are not sure if you should click trader or contact your local Trading Standards for advice. If Dragon Driving believe you to be a trader we will either contact you for confirmation of your status or may change your status to trader without notice.

Any text or images which will bring the reputation of Dragon Driving into disrepute will be removed from the advert. You can send replacement photos.

Adverts will be amended to correct spelling and punctuation and may be altered to make the advert more legible. It is the advertisers responsibility to inform Dragon Driving if the advert text is no longer an accurate description of the item for sale.

Titles to adverts are set by Dragon Driving

Adverts can be amended by email, phone or online form, there is no charge for this service however it as at the discretion of Dragon Driving as to whether the change is significant enough to move the advert up the date order page. The factors Dragon Driving will take into account are the nature and size of the change and how long since the advert was last updated. A price change is NOT a guarantee that the advert will move up the date order page.

Dragon Driving reserve the right to refuse adverts without reason. Any monies paid will be refunded.

Dragon Driving will supply information to certain bodies such as Trading Standards and the Police when requested but will not otherwise give out personal details which are not currently being published on the website.

Any information submitted to Dragon Driving must not be false, offensive or fraudulent, in breach of copyright or another's privacy. You are responsible for ensuring that all text and photographs/images are not copyrighted and you have the owners permission.

Goods should not be counterfeit or stolen. The seller must have the right to offer goods and services for sale.
Dragon Driving accepts no responsibility for the content of any advert.

Due to the technical nature of the Internet we cannot guarantee the 100% availability of the site and the service is provided 'as is' and "as available" and Dragon Driving accepts no responsibility for loss or damages without limitation arising from non-availability. Dragon Driving accepts no responsibility for loss or damages without limitation arising from the uses of the Dragon Driving services and equipment.

Your privacy is important to us. When you use our website:

We will not loan, rent or sell to any third parties any personal details that have been passed on to us without explicit prior permission.

You won't receive any unsolicited e-mail communication from us as a result of visiting our site or giving us your information, apart from communication in direct relation to your advert.

Information provided to us will not be shared outside of Dragon Driving. We will use the information to respond to your request – not for any other purpose.

Personal information provided by you when you place an advert on our website, is only displayed for the duration of the advert.

Your security is of paramount importance to us. Payment details and credit card information is not held by us. Online Payment collection is by Paypal.
