LNER Railway Dray

1930s LNER Railway Dray, this was actually used as a show dray around 30 years ago and once transported the Queen Mother at the head of the parade at the Sandringham Horse Show. It's actually an ex LNER railway dray built by the Whitlock Bros of Gt Yeldham, Essex, later famous for making backhoe conversions for Fordson and Ferguson tractors under the Dinkum Digger brand, bought out by Hymac in 1972.

This dray is built on similar lines, incredibly strong, will never wear out and in great original condition. The bed is short and wide at 8ft 6 x 6ft, has a matching set of 700 x 17 "Animal Drawn Vehicle" Dunlop tyres, probably original, all good condition, all hold pressure.W ind on brakes work fine.

Shafts are not original but at 7ft long will take a big horse and are very sound. Seat, fit for a queen, is in good order and is easily unbolted. Heavy but rolls easily, will make a great training vehicle for a heavy horse. Everything greased and ready to go. Delivery arranged at extra cost.
