Bennington Buccaneer, 2 wheeler carriage to fit pony/cob 14hh to 15hh. Based in Cumbria, 5 mins from Junction 38 of M6. Bought second hand for £1,500 from Bennington, serviced by them in November 2021 & believed built 2007. Customised by Bennington in 2021 with 2 steps each side for easy access. Has been tipped over and partially restored so needs new shafts. Always been stored indoors.
Current shaft height at tugs 44" / 112cm upwards, they have been damaged. Brass fittings all there. New Bennington shaft spring clamps fitted. Current pony is not tall enough for it. Leaf springs with axle adjustment. This is not the Competitor model so it does not have winding balance or back step.Rubbered floor.
Sliding seat, width 40" / 102cm. Wheel diameter 37.5" / 95cm, needs a hubcap refurbished and a rim repainted. Swingle tree width 25" / 64cm. Track width 52" / 132cm. Whip holder, flat bench cushion. Would possibly accept a bid for parts.
