Bennington 2 wheel horse drawn carriage in excellent condition. This has been dry stored, unused the past couple of years, you can see it's had an easier life. In fantastic very presentable condition with only light marks as expected compared to many you see.
This is sold complete with the wicker spares basket, adjustable seating position adjusted on the rails, mounting steps either side, 12 spoke wheels, draw shafts that can be adjusted, leaf springs/pads, whip holder and pig tail swingle tree again all present and in good order. The timber is structurally solid and seating fresh with no rips or tears. It still has the Bennington makers badge to the rear of the seat.

Exercise cart. A well balanced solid cart (no rot), smart tidy pleasure cart, no rips to the seat. This is a excellent, well built cart that has aluminium tread plate fitted for easy wash down at the end of the drive.
It has nice features with horseshoe steps, the pneumatic tyres have loads and loads of miles left on them. It is lightweight for the hills, strong, sturdy and very comfortable, the seat is designed and positioned for maximum all round viewing and the shafts have good spring in them.

Bennington 2 wheel carriage. Owned since '02. Used for 15hh. Suitable for 14hh to 16hh. Suited to pleasure driving. Not used regularly but tidy and running smoothly.
Able to change shaft length and seat positioning. Varnished wood with black metal work and vinyl seat. Includes pigtail swingle tree, rear picnic basket, whip holder and lamp holder either side. Round steps, 10 spokes, wheel size 42".
Slight twist on one shaft but structurally sound, never caused an issue for us. Please contact for any further details including additional measurements.
