Borthwood the Dazzler for sale with complete turn out. Daz is a 15.1hh ride and drive Hackney. Registered with the Hackney horse Society. He's been shown most of his life in wagon classes and private drive but I have owned him for the last 4 years and he's just been used as my pleasure horse. He has no lumps or bumps and no vices. He 15 years old been there and done it type. Has got some really nice action and is complete gentleman. He's done more driving than riding.
He comes with a Hartland Versatile carriage with spare shafts and swingle trees, it is fitted with delayed steering for when driving pairs and there is a sprung pole still in its original packaging as well as a wicker basket of spares.
The harness is by Ideal Equestrian and exceptional quality. Videos and pictures upon request.

George, 15.2hh Riding Gelding
A lovely big substantial boy with a sweet quiet nature. A beautiful model, correct in every way. He's a lovely boy, quite easy to do. He does have his Welsh quirky ways but he has no malice. He has the right attitude, a kind heart and all the looks. George has also previously driven with his old owner. I'm sure he'd be up for any job given he has all the movement, presence and was shown the ropes.
George would make the ultimate all rounder with plenty of competition mileage, he has the brain and ability to to excel in any sphere someone will be very successful with this fabulous horse. He is still a bit green schooling due to him mainly being driven but he’s coming on well and is very willing. Loves jumping, he’s very bold jumping, hacks well, good with traffic.

Very well looked after mare, doesn't look her age. Selling due to loss of work. Very quiet mare, good to load, shoe, clip.

Betsy, 14.2hh Riding Mare
14.2hh rising 9 mare. Palomino cob x. Good points. Betsy is the perfect mother/daughter happy hacker. Will hack for hours on end, loves to pop a little jump whilst out and about. Good with all traffic. Brilliant to clip will stand all day. Good with the farrier, up to date with jabs, wormer, teeth. Tack been recently fitted in December. Good to handle. Will take the most novice riders out for a hack. Has been know to be driven although this is not something I have done with her.
Not so good points. Betsy isn't too keen on standing at the mountain block, she just likes someone to get on so she can go. This is something I've been working on and has improved. She isn't keen on being ridden in the school, it's not something either of us enjoy doing so I've stuck to hacking since owning her. Only reason for sale is my daughter needs a new pony so she has got to go.

Polly, 14.3hh Mare
Polly is a 14.3hh bum high mare, she's a French bred trotter and is rising 5. She has mainly driven but they did ride as well. She is nervous when you do the girth up and needs a calm person.
She has a stunning moment. We've lunged her and put tack on but that's far as it goes but she was driven last week and was fine but old owners.
I'm selling her as a ridden project or someone that drives with have a nice mare. We have wormed her and had feet trimmed.

15.2hh liver chestnut Hackney stallion, 7 years old, fully registered and licensed with the HHS. Has been ridden lightly and driven, he is a true gent in harness.
Currently being sold from the field due to being used for covering since last spring and has been out running with mares. All his offspring are due this year.
