15.3hh Comtois
Papered Comtois gelding 15.3hh 6 year old. Good for the farrier, very kind natured, papered Comtois. Will stand on a yard alone or in a stables alone, never nasty, green. This gorgeous boy was brought in from France as a ride and drive, we later found out that was not the case and he was going to need completely re-backing.
We have started this process and he is taking to it very well. He is not nasty at all and is a quick learner but where he was rushed he is a nervous with new transitions or situations so takes all his confidence from his rider. He walks away alone around a school, paddock happily at this point.
He loves to be brushed and have all they attention. He will stand in alone no problems, good for the farrier, never bolshy or rude. This boy is going to build the strongest bond with someone as he looks to his handler for reassurance. Just recently started to be re backed. This is a slow process as he has been rushed previously.
