Arian, Clydesdale x Riding Gelding

16.1hh 3 year old Clydesdale x gelding, still plenty of growing to do. Sadly for sale through no fault of his own. Arian's maturing nicely with beautiful paces. Will hack out alone & happily lead another horse at the side of him. He's bold & brave, will make a fantastic jumper.

Will pick up all feet for farrier, loves a groom. He's still young so still learning & will push boundaries but always safe & behaves very quickly once he's told. He's great with other horses & just wants to please his rider. Will work in a school & safe on open fields. He's seen traffic & ridden on roads, but more education is needed. Stables well, totally unspoiled & ready for his future education. He's still getting used to hose pipe, not his favourite thing & I have never had the clippers near him. He hasn't seen the dentist.

I can’t fault him, he's a bargain so please. No time wasters or dealers. He will stay with us till a genuine buyer is found. Only selling due to work commitments & daughter joining forces.

Lucy, 16hh Mare

  • Lucy, 16hh Mare
  • Lucy, 16hh Mare

Lucy is a 16hh black/ very dark bay 11 year old mare out of a Thoroughbred from eventing lines and an Andalusian dressage stallion. She is suitable as a broodmare having wire damaged a tendon at the front of her rear nearside leg a few years ago in a field accident. She was never lame, but rear foot placement likely to be affected and the skin remains thin.

Has been lightly hacked since accident and was fully sound but has not been ridden for some time and would need to be gradually brought back in to light work if required. Floaty paces, keeps condition on well over the winter. Has very strong hooves and is barefoot and easily trimmed.

She has a small nodular sarcoid on her belly that is well controlled with Sarcex in her feed and aural plaques that have not changed in three years but she does not like her ears touched. She likes company in the field or stable and is easy to deal with on the ground. Good home that meets her needs essential and could produce stunning foals from a warmblood type stallion.
