If you want a safe and steady cob for kids, you won't find a better one. She is super quiet in the heaviest of traffic. You can ride her up the M25, that is how quiet she is.

Greenrivers Silver Knight, family pony (project). Jett 2 year old Fell pony 13hh. Jett is is a pleasure to have on the yard/field. He's more of a family project pony! But loves to learn and with the right person he will go very far! He has been lightly backed but due to his age he's not done loads.
We've ridden him around the yard and he's been foot perfect! He's been led around with children on him and kids have sat on him in the field (he's more of a big dog). He's been driven and taken to this very well! He's lovely to handle and good for the vet and farrier and good with other horses.
He's been out in the field for the last month to have a well earned break! So he is being sold from the field but you could bring him in from the field and put a kid on for a lead rein and he'd act like he's been in work the whole time! Home is more important than price. Sidney, 15hh 12 year old Welsh D gelding. I've made the tough decision to part with my lovely boy. He was purchased a year ago as a newly backed riding horse but is very experienced in harness & has a solid background in driving. He's come on beautifully under saddle & is showing great promise.
Still green in ridden work, can occasionally have a spook, especially if he's not in regular work, just needs a calm, confident rider to bring out his best. Never done anything dangerous & always looks to his rider for reassurance. I'll be honest, I'm an inexperienced & not very confident rider, especially after a few bad falls (not with Sid). I've found him to be a bit much for me at times, simply because he needs more consistent work & guidance than I can give him. That said, he's never put a foot wrong in terms of behaviour.
I hopped on him after months off & he's been absolutely fine. He's a very forward-going boy who loves a job & would thrive in a knowledgeable home with routine & time. He's sound, healthy, never sick or sorry.
