Pair of Comtois (Belgian Draft type) working mares, from the estate of the late ‘Daisy' Sadler of Sydney's ExPloditions. Rising 16 and 12 respectively. Both 16hh. Bred in Southern France, then to south Belgium in 2018. Acquired via Stal Talpe in Oct 2023, with fully stamped French passports.
They work well with our farrier, Joe Bell. Classically docile and easy to handle, they live and box well together. They can be demonstrated by Daisy's driving colleague Sam, who took Daisy on her waggon to her final resting place in November. Daisy's husband Josh is on a promise to Daisy's memory to find them a good home, so no dealers please, though commission paid for a successful introduction. Any vetting welcome.
A new home is also needed for all Daisy's wagons, harness, and everything else accumulated from 30 years of working and travelling with heavy horses.

15hh genuine half bred trotting filly, very well bred. 3 years old in July.
She is broken in to drive and she's been on a couple of drives, just done the Chatham drive a week ago. She's a well bred filly, she's got a good bit of speed to her and good action.
The father is a horse called Wanaby and grandfather was the old Gambler. Withheld numbers won't be answered.

Robbie is a red & white 15hh, 7 year old Irish pacing stallion. He is quiet as a lamb to do and doesn't look at a thing out driving. Unsure if he's ever covered but he is lovely to deal with and is stabled across from my mare with no issues.
He has a brand new set of irons on, been wormed and had his teeth done all with us. We originally got him to do the drives this summer but we've since bought one back that we previously sold so he no longer has a job with us.
We are fond of him so please no rough handlers. Beautifully marked, clean legged, no lumps or bumps. Fully passported and ready to go.

A 7 year old, big 16.1hh half bred gelding. This horse been there and done the lot. He has pulled 4 wheelers and can't half go in a jogger.
They are few and far between these big horses. He can shake a leg at 28-29mph and he's a big friendly giant.
