13.2hh Mare

Beautiful black cob, 13.2hh, she is easy to do, got stable manners to die for! Loves to be groomed, is more a one to one horse, can pick all 4 feet up, brilliant to lead, no pulling. She has been stabled all winter but is used to being out so can be stabled or turned out.

She is a quiet horse and is lightly backed, done lunging, long reining and been sat on, walked around with someone on her back and also walked on her own with someone on her back. We have also taken her out on the roads and she was very well behaved but I'm going to be completely honest when it comes to working her she can be nervous and very sensitive. She wouldn't hurt you or do anything to harm you or put you in harms way just can be jumpy.

She would suit an experienced home and make more of her and she is a very sweet mare, this a heart breaking decision but she needs a more experienced home. She is up to date with jabs, teeth, worming and feet. Passported (standard). I am open to part exchange but I'm looking for a hacker.

Rosie, 14.1hh Riding Mare

Rosie would be ideally suited to a small adult or competent teenager, she is not a child's pony or a novice ride. Rosie came to us having been backed but we had to completely start from scratch with her. She needs an owner who is committed to furthering her education as she has a lot of potential. Is sadly too small which has brought on the sale.

She has now been in consistent work for over a year and works beautifully on the flat, will hack alone or in company, in front or behind and is now popping jumps nicely. She has recently started jumping courses and shows a willing attitude. She's also harness broken but has never been driven.

We managed to get out to a dressage competition last year, her first outing and she placed 2nd and 3rd. We have also been to a local yard to use the cross country jumps and she showed no hesitation. Rosie can however lack confidence when jumping so needs an competent rider to get the best out of her. She can be quirky so not suitable for a child.

Freddie, Gelding

This is the hardest thing to write and something I swore I'd never do, however due to him not reaching size and other commitments it's unfair to keep him as a stable ornament. Freddie is a 12.3hh rising 3 years old traditional cob gelding. I think he will max out about 13hh-13.1hh.

I have owned him since he was a yearling and have done all the groundwork with him myself. He has lunged (in full tack), long reined and loves to hack in hand. I have no doubt that he will make an amazing hacking pony as nothing phases him on the roads. Plenty of photo and video evidence. He will go out with any horse (mare or gelding) and is incredibly easy to do, he has been showing and loves to go on the trailer.
