She is being sold as a project due to me not having time with work commitments, she has been ridden and backed and she was trained to race but never made the track due to being slow. If I generally had more time this horse wouldn't be going anywhere at all! So for this reason she will only go to a good home.

Noreen, 16hh Riding Mare

16/16.1hh 11 year mare, reg Belgium, hacks alone with a strong rider as will plant so needs a smacked bum and a growl and she will go, will happily hack in company, she will happily go around the school but isn't well schooled in an outline but wiling, canters fine out in the open. There's literally not a nasty bone in her.

Here's the nitty gritty, hacking alone Noreen will look at stuff, she needs pushing on if she passes a horse eating wheelie bin! Or silly stuff like gateways! Having said this she's no killer and is ridden by teenagers here, and fine in company. She is a very big horse so not for someone that's only ever owned a pony as she does know her size but is a sweetheart and wouldn't hurt you.

Old scarring on back legs that you can't see but can feel from feather mites but she has been successfully treated by my vet. Barefoot good for farrier, not a novice ride, hacking alone although I think anyone could ride her in the school or if hacking through woodlands.

Flicka, 16hh Mare

Flicka is an 18 year old 16hh mare who came to me recently as a confidence giver. She has not settled on our very busy yard with me, I think mainly due to my inexperience with larger horses. I had not ridden since being a teenager and am very nervous, which is transferring to her and then I'm losing any confidence I had.

She was sold to me as a ridden horse however she has been intermittently unsound since I had her shod, my farrier shod her differently to support her heels so this may have affected her so I am therefore selling her as a companion. However until this week she has been being ridden almost daily in walk and this has not proved a problem to her either in the school or hacking. I am hopeful that she could possibly be able to do light ridden work again in the future.

Unfortunately I don't have the time or confidence to continue with her so have decided it's best for her to find a new home.

Absolutely brilliant in traffic, happily hacks alone or in company and will go first or last. He's never strong or silly even in open fields. He works nicely in the school with a lovely balanced canter and he'll pop a small log in the woods or on a fun ride, but doesn't want to jump hence sale.

Dylan, 16.3hh Riding Gelding

Dylan, 16.3hh Friesian x section D, in no rush to sell as we want him to go to the best home. Dylan has been used in riding schools and riding for the disabled in his previous home where he lived for 12 years. Is good to hack out either alone or in company but prefers being out with another horse. Can put a novice on him and know he's not going to bolt off.

We've only hacked him out since having him and hasn't put a foot wrong. The type you can leave out for weeks and jump back on without a bother. He prefers being out and can live in a mixed herd. Never kicked or bitten, up to date with teeth and vaccinations and passported.

His only bad point is he doesn't like getting his bridle over one of his ears but with patience you can get it on. He can sometimes spook but nothing dangerous, just more of a side step away from whatever's bothered him. Dylan does have a mark in one of his eyes where he caught in on barbed wire in his previous home, this doesn't effect him or his sight and we have had it checked by a vet.

Lenny, my beautiful 16.3hh registered Irish sports horse gelding. He is a 12 year old school master with quality blood lines of Pilot. Lenny is good in traffic and well behaved in open spaces. Lenny has previously done show jumping in the past with some winning grade C. He has been used for general rides for a few years and flowing with it lovely. Would make someone happy who wants to enjoy a bit of everything. He'd be a nice all rounder that's worn t-shirt a little so knows the ropes!

He has amazing manners and is a total angel to handle, he's the type that can be left in the field for weeks then come straight in and on with his job with no trouble! Emma, 16.3hh Riding Mare

Emma is a great loader, she loads perfectly first time and travels well. She is absolutely foot perfect for the farrier and perfect to clip. Happy to live in or out, can be turned out with mares or in a mixed herd with no issues.

Emma has lovely movement and 3 good paces, despite being a trotter she can canter well and is balanced once in canter. Emma can occasionally pace when asked for canter but once pushed through this she produces a lovely steady canter. I believe with full time work and further education she will perfect her canter. Emma has also done a lot of trotting poles and popped some small fences with absolutely no issue, she is a pleasure to jump and does not put a foot wrong.

She has a very trainable brain and is willing to please. This is a very sad sale but due to my health issues and the fact I do not have the expertise to bring her on further, I would like her to go to a home where she can reach her full and true potential.

Juno, 17hh Belgium Draft Riding Mare

Juno is an absolutely amazing, 4 year old, registered strawberry roan Belgium Draft. She's easy to do in all ways, catch, tack up. Bomb proof in heavy traffic, lovely and responsive to the leg. Genuine gentle giant. She came to me a bit under weight and is still building muscle.

Absolutely heart breaking sale of my dream horse so in no rush and want her to go to the best home. I've recently broken my back hence the sale being absolutely no fault of her own. 17hh TB Riding Gelding

17hh Thoroughbred dark bay 8 year old. Potentially looking for a new home. Del is not your average Thoroughbred, he is very laid back and a very easy going horse. We bought Del and brought him back into work in September and since then he has done a lot of schooling and some jumping.

Would make a brilliant hunting prospect/show jumper but with me only being 16 and I have had a few falls I feel at the moment he is completely wasted. Del jumps a metre with ease and is very level headed and sensible in open fields which would make him an ideal hunt prospect, he has a very scopey jump.

He is up to date with dentist, farrier and all jabs. Loads no problem in a trailer or box, good to clip and do in all ways. He has been to 3 novice horse in hand/ridden shows this year coming away with reds and 2nds in each show. Has just had a brand newly fitted saddle 2 weeks old also available at extra cost.
