Square nuts for carriage builders and restorers. Add a touch of class to your work with these square nuts. These nuts are like the old Whitworth nuts but have a metric thread so you can use easily available metric coach bolts with them. I do not sell bolts.
Nothing looks worse than hex nuts on a Victorian carriage or that lovely dray, flat cart or wagon that you have spent £1000's building. Prices: M6 x 20=£3, M8x20=£6, M10x20=£8, M12x20=£10, M16x20=£12 plus p+p. You don't have to buy them in packs of 20 this is just for pricing.

A horse drawn Victoria carriage built by Ripon Bros. Circa 1890s. A decent, honest, usable vehicle which would not require a lot of work to bring back to its original condition.
The wheels and underworks are sound. Open rear with velvet covered driver's seat. The black leather buttoned interior and hood are all in good restorable condition. This Victoria only requires light restoration.
There is a partial crest symbol visible with 'Anchora' inscription on the side of the coach. No shafts.

Ralli car, circa 1900. By Wm Crutchley Market Drayton. Triple leaf springs. Fixed pigs with additional (modern) swingle tree. 16 spoke 50" wooden wheels with solid tyres.
Restored at some point by JW Johnson Leeds. Approx.74" ash shafts. Adjustable seat for balance and footrest. Not used for several years but barn stored. Seats, woodwork and brass generally in good order but metal paintwork could do with some restoration.
