Ginger is a beautiful and kind 13 year old TB gelding. Professionally retrained and then spent two years hunting with the Wessex Bloodhounds until now. He is trusty and reliable, whipped in and hunted by an 82 year old. Ginger is a soft and responsive ride and is always an absolute gentleman. Always snaffle mouthed and could be stopped from a gallop by a child.
Ginger will jump, although it's not his forte, and has also dabbled in a bit of low level dressage. He moves beautifully. We have spent the last few months hacking him out locally alongside our children and I have also ridden and led other ponies from him. Good to catch, lead, load, shoe, etc...
The only downside to Ginger is that he does prefer to be tied up in his stable or on the box when he's on the yard, if he's tied up on the yard he will occasionally snap his head collar and then just stand there, so we are looking for a home that can facilitate that. His price reflects this as he is otherwise a completely amazing horse.
