Brougham

1860 Bowman which features the original interior material in great condition as well as all original parts. With windows which can be raised and lowered and features Keites & Sons original wheel nuts.

Including shafts, 72inch. Width of shaft connection to front of carriage 35 inches. More pictures available on request.

The Brougham was a light, four wheeled horse drawn carriage popular during the nineteenth century and named after the politician and jurist Lord Brougham who had a carriage built to his particular specifications by London coachbuilder Robinson & Cook in about 1838.

4 wheel cart, 4 seater with a turn table. Leather seats, rubber wheels. Needs a bit of TLC. Chipped paint in some areas, but otherwise in a good working condition.

Back folds down to create a step, or can be left up and used as storage (can be seen in photos). Measurements: full length without shafts - 83 inches/210.82cm, hub to hub on back wheels (widest point) - 56 inches/142.24cm, height of back wheels - 40 inches/101.60cm, width between the tug stops on the shafts when attached to the cart (where horse stands) - 33.5 inches/85.09cm, independent shafts end to end - 70 inches/177.80cm.
