Skipper, 17hh heavy set ID type (Irish bred no recorded breeding) Rising 13 years old. Used as a hunt masters horse until this season (rider no longer hunting) described as bold brave out front. Was taken for a holiday by their groom who rode him all summer and had some fab times with him. Well schooled and careful over show jumps. Her 11 year old brother regularly hacked him.
He had been out of work since October, since having him I have been riding him but unfortunately Skipper doesn't enjoy hacking alone and I need all my horses to be able to do this. He will go out if you really push him and I don't doubt this will be rectified with time but he will throw a rear and unfortunately I just can't risk coming off as have too many to look after to be breaking. He has hacked in company here well.
Excellent ground manners. Tweaked a check lig 2022 - never went lame - rescanned and returned to full work including hunting with no issue since. No splints sarcroids. Open to view and vet.

For loan or sale. TB x Connemara, 16.3hh gelding, 20 years old. We have decided to loan or sale our beloved horse to a hacking only home although he could still do low level dressage. He is bombproof in traffic and hacks alone or in company, in the past he has competed eventing, dressage, riding club activities, camps, etc...
The home is most important, we have owned him since he was a foal, which is why we have priced him accordingly and we have space for him to stay on the Farm, in a superb hacking location.
He is good to shoe, catch, box, clip, he has no vices apart from a character full grumpiness when tacking up/ grooming.

Prada, 16.3hh ISH Mare
Due to giving up horses I've decided to let my lovely mare go to a new home. She's 16.3hh 14 years old ISH with unrecorded breeding. Prada really enjoys her work. She will happily hack in company, and will go out alone with a confident rider, she's definitely more whoah than go but does pick up a gear when asked. She's done a bit of jumping, pole clinics, xc training, etc...
She was bred to jump so with a bit of work she would make a lovely low level jumper. She's currently living out but does enjoy having a stable too. She can be left in the stable or field on her own without any issues. She gets along well with all other horses and is equally happy in a large herd as she is in small group. She's easy to catch, good to groom, etc... She's had her teeth done in November 2023.
She will come with everything she owns which includes newly fitted saddle. She's never been sick or sorry but does need her vaccinations restarted. Based in West Sussex. Sold from the field as no facilities.

17hh Thoroughbred Gelding
20 year old TB gelding. He does need weight. Good riding horse, not a novice ride as forward going but isn't spooky and doesn't bolt, buck, rear. Hacks alone or in company good in traffic. Can be left for months and got straight on from the field.
Very well schooled and goes well for an older gent. Bit of a loon to jump, still very exciting apparently. Had a terrible race career and an ok event career. Well mannered in all ways to handle and for farrier, all though currently barefoot with good feet. Not a brilliant loader. Absolute mile to worm but he's up to date so just make sure you have a step ladder ready for the next one. Teeth & physio up to date.

Out hacking he is forward but can nap if asked to wait too long but not nasty. On the ground he pulls faces round food. Absolutely perfect to clip and bath, perfect for the farrier dentist and vet. Loads perfectly.

Seb, 16.2hh Riding Gelding
The most beautiful boy, starting with 7, 16.2hh 2014, sports horse/riding horse/Arab gelding. Lovely bloodlines. Seb is absolutely beautiful and has had a go at all disciplines but mainly BD dressage, county level showing and hacking, always tries his best and aims to please.
He loves to hack, excellent manners both on the ground and under saddle, a pleasure to have on the yard. Such a beautiful soul professionally show produced, shown at county level as a large riding horse in hand and under saddle and always came home in the ribbons. Sadly due to an injury he sustained last year it doesn't effect him in anyway it just a scar, he wouldn't be able to return to county because of it but would be a rosette machine at grassroots/ponyclub level, always comes home with rosettes.
Or if someone wanted a dressage horse to take up the levels he would thrive, he came first last month at his first time out in BD and schools absolutely beautifully. He's just the sweetest boy and will be missed.

Douglas is a 16.2hh gelding, came to me as rescue. He's been wormed, de liced. He needs a bit of tlc. He's had dentist and awaiting a trim. He's come on in leaps and bounds.
He's not nasty, just a bit wary with of new people, he doesn't kick or bite. I've had tack on him with no problem but feel he needs to gain more weight turned out to grass before re starting him hence a project.

Jack, 16hh Riding Gelding
Sad sale of my lovely cheeky gelding, Jack. He has sadly grown too big for me so that I am unable to continue with the further education that he needs and deserves. He was re-backed in 2020 and has been used for gentle hacking around the fields and lanes, alone and in company.
He is still very green and so is not a novice ride but learns quickly. Perfect at the mounting block, good in traffic (but not keen on tractors!). He responds well to clicker training and loves his scratches! He can be a little pushy when fed treats by hand. He is wonderful when worked consistently but can be silly when very fresh and bored.
He is ridden bitless or in snaffle and is barefoot with boots. Good for farrier and vet, up to date with all vaccines, teeth, etc... Would suit someone as a summer project, eager to work him further, improve his canter transition, teach him to jump and have a lot of fun with him!

Billy, 16.2hh Riding Gelding
Billy is an ex race horse who trained but didn't make it to the track due to hoof imbalance. With correct trimming there's absolutely no reason why he wouldn't excel in certain disciplines given the correct training. He is not suitable for eventing. We have available radiograph of all four feet, taken to ensure correct trimming. Billy has good hoof wall but pulls shoes and has transitioned to barefoot, he currently wears scoot boots on his fronts.
Lack of time has got in the way of his training and he is still green in the school. He's been out on the road in company, does not appear to be spooky or phased by traffic. Billy turns out in a large mixed herd and avoids confrontation. He's not difficult to catch and is happy in his stable even if he's the only one in.
This boy is good with vet farrier, physio and dentist, he's an absolute saint to mount. He has a complete wardrobe including his boots and fitted tack.
