Ilston Danny Boy, 15hh Welsh Section D Riding Gelding
15hh registered Welsh sec D, 10 years old, Ilston Danny Boy. Danny Boy is my own horse, I have had the pleasure of owning him over the last 2 years. This is a very hard decision to let him go. Danny, he is a joy to own, stands like a saint for the farrier, perfect to clip, wonderful stable manners and regularly handled by children. Can sometimes be a beggar to catch but always comes for a carrot.
Danny enjoys pleasure rides, showing, dressage, x-country training and hunting. Danny is good to hack and solid in traffic. Not for a novice as although sensible, he is an active, responsive ride, but above all else Welsh. Loads easily and travels great on a wagon or trailer.
Only for sale as I feel that jumping isn't something Danny loves to do and although he has always tried his heart out for me he would be much happier with someone who mainly wants a pleasure horse for hacking, dressage, showing, pleasure rides. Blueberry is a perfect family all rounder! She has been trial hunting most of the season crossing all country, great with hounds never get strong or silly and is snaffled mouthed at all times. We have taken Blueberry to arena hires, XC training and have been on multiple beach rides. She always behaves impeccably wherever we take her.

Heavyweight feathered cob, Violet. Aged 10, XC, hunting, hacking, jumping. Violet is strong, powerful and fast, she is therefore not a novice ride. She loves XC and is a beautiful safe gallop with big safe feet. She is barefoot and never been shod.

Sad sale of my lovely cheeky gelding, Jack. He has sadly grown too big for me so that I am unable to continue with the further education that he needs and deserves. He was re-backed in 2020 and has been used for gentle hacking around the fields and lanes, alone and in company.
He is still very green and so is not a novice ride but learns quickly. Perfect at the mounting block, good in traffic (but not keen on tractors!). He responds well to clicker training and loves his scratches! He can be a little pushy when fed treats by hand. He is wonderful when worked consistently but can be silly when very fresh and bored.
He is ridden bitless or in snaffle and is barefoot with boots. Good for farrier and vet, up to date with all vaccines, teeth, etc... Would suit someone as a summer project, eager to work him further, improve his canter transition, teach him to jump and have a lot of fun with him!

Saffy has a fantastic temperament and one of the sweetest mares you are likely to find. Very genuine and very kind. Very sweet mare on the ground and in all ways. Saffy likes a routine and likes to be in regular work. Saffy currently is schooling nicely and hacks nicely. She has been ridden by all sorts of different riders from children through to older women. She is currently stabled at a riding school, although wouldn't be a first horse due to her large paces.
Saffy hacks perfectly and has never spooked at anything with any riders on with us. Have footage of children riding her out and in the school. Further videos available at request. Please call for further videos.

Amazing for the farrier, vet, etc... Can have the occasional buck when excited and cantering but never silly!
She's as good as gold hacking out in open spaces, she will calmly just walk and trot but would equally go for a canter if asked! We have done a few cross poles and shows promise jumping. With more schooling and fitness she would be a cracking all rounder/hunter!
