Fred is a Welsh x, standing 9.3hh - he has recently been professionally broken to drive and is ready for someone with a bit more experience than myself to put some miles on his back.
I bought him as a beginner's drive, but it became obvious he had literally been thrown in the cart and drove a handful of times. I think he's had a hard life and so can he nervous until he gets to know you - no nastiness at all. We do however keep a field safe on him for catching - if he's got food he'll do anything.
I'm looking for a home with an experienced driver to bring him on and I want the best of homes for him as he's had a hard life up to now. Blue is 12 years old and a cob. Lovely natured and all round great pony. (13.2hh) had him since he was 2 and has always been great with everything you want him to do. This is not a light decision but I feel like he could be better suited with a family with children. Due to my work life increasing I have less time.
He has been backed and riding since he was 3. Will come with tack if you want. Has mainly done hacking and loads of ground work. Can be hacked out alone if the rider is confident. But would be great as a child's lead pony.
