Professor is a handsome 16hh, 10-year-old registered Standardbred who has recently retired from a successful harness racing career with us after many enjoyable years on the track. We are now looking for his forever ridden home. I personally broke him to ride, and he has been an absolute pleasure from day one. He is a true gentleman with a fantastic temperament, eager to please and genuinely enjoys his work.
Professor is just as sensible and well-mannered in company as he is on his own. He is forward yet reliable, and about as close to bombproof as a horse can be. Under saddle, he has never paced for me, and when racing he only paced when hobbled, making him a straightforward and enjoyable ride.
This is an incredibly sad sale, but with other young horses coming into racing, I simply cannot give him the time and attention he deserves to carry on his ridden career. A genuine 5* home is essential for this very special boy. Inc a saddle company saddle I've just had fitted to him.

This gorgeous mare was imported in March as an untouched youngster who had been left to mature. She has naturally elastic movement, fantastic breeding by Ferguson x Iconic B and a lovely calm nature. She has come on leaps and bounds and is becoming a very confident enjoyable youngster who is ready to continue her education. She ties up, leads with other horses, stands to be hosed, has had full tack on and just been started on the lunge.
She can be a bit of a mare at times when asked something new but very quick to learn and change her attitude. Working on picking up her back feet but is great with the fronts. 14hh 8 year old piebald mare inc tack - fantastic hack with potential. Please read until the end! Bombproof as you can get out hacking & is sound in even the heaviest of traffic, any ones ride. Hacks alone or in company. Still green in school but coming on well with her 12 year old rider.
Been to pleasure rides, pops a small jump, never bucked or reared whist rode. Great on the lead rein.
