Buddy, cob 13hh 3, age 7. He has been with us from 4 years old as my son's pony. He is bombproof and hacks well alone and in company, plenty of experience with traffic. He has done some mounted games but is not fast. He is good to load, for the farrier and to clip/bath. He has done some fab XC training.
Hes a really nice looking pony in excellent health. Recently hogged and he looks smart. Would make a lovely driving horse. He kneels to try and eat when schooling, we managed to get him out of him this year but as soon as my son restarted with him he started again. He has been great out at XC, hacks, etc... My son loves him but isn't balanced enough.
He is strong, is always handled by an adult as he will take the mick and try for some cheeky grass snack, if he thinks he can get away with it he'll try - he has been perfect on the ground recently He would be a great little fun ride/hack. Really sad sale of our much loved family pony. Stands at 12.1/2hh 6 years old. Lives out, has just had feet trimmed and stood amazingly. Loves children he has been used as a lead rein for my daughter.
He hasn't been off lead rein. So can either be project for more experienced child or just for one wanting to plod around. He hasn't seen much traffic but probably wouldn't faze him.

Meet Hector who is just adorable by personality & looks. He's 15 years old and really is your true first ridden although he is also more than happy to been a leader in as well. Hector makes a great companion as well. He is very chilled out & as long as he gets his kiss & cuddle a day he isn't phased by anything else, children dressing him up, traffic and all other mad activities that go on at our yard. He's up to date with vaccinations and feet.
A good boy in all ways being handled, load, travel, and farrier. Knows his job with children and has very much been my little boys best friend. Has no medical problems & is very easy to keep & look after, although he does require regular dental care but nothing a few extra routine appointments don't keep on top of. He just has a few missing teeth so need to keep the others filled down.
We really can't fault him & his price does also reflect this. Please also note Hector is not a registered Shetland, he's on a normal pet ID passport.
