Pair of 13hh Geldings

Charlie and Eddie are a pair of pretty Welsh mountain pony type, strawberry roan geldings. They are 6 years old and have lived together all their lives. They are both broken to ride and drive individually but would make a fantastic driving pair – they move beautifully, they look very similar and are exactly the same height!

They have recently been broken to ride as they were driving already when we got them but not to ride. They are both wormed regularly and are microchipped and passported with the BDS. Neither of them are currently shod but have been shod previously and are very good when being shod. They are also very well behaved when being wormed, groomed, boxed and clipped, however Eddie isn't too fond of the clippers touching his head!!! Eddie does suffer with sweet itch which was quite bad when he came to us but now we have treated and it is not causing a problem but his coat is still recovering! They will live in or out but have been stabled with us over the winter but like to share a stable as well as a haynet! They have been turned alone and also with mare and gelding company and are fine. They have both had basic schooling both on the lunge and ridden and have both started some ground work over coloured poles and Charlie is now jumping small jumps. The have been hacking out with an experienced horse and have done some road work but not a lot – they are very used to farm machinery!! Charlie is the more confident of the two and Eddie relies on Charlie a lot for confidence. Eddie is still a little nervous but is fine with people once they've gained his trust.

They are loving, intelligent willing ponies and it is because of this I would like them to go as a pair – they have never been separated and I feel it would be a shame to split them up now as they will make such a fantastic driving pair. Please contact me for more pictures if you are interested!!
