Carriage spec, extending rear axle, rear brakes, hand brake, leather adjustable driver seat, large back step, adjustable shafts for a better fit, extremely good turning circle, whip holder, wooden dash, trunk for spares, roughly 85kg.

Competition Carriage
Three phase carriage in stainless steel and black by Carriage Sales to fit approx 14hh to 15.2hh. This carriage has delayed steering, extending rear axles, rear disc brakes & parking brake.
It comes with the accessories in photo 2 ie. Loop end shafts, swan neck shafts, groom's seat, extension for back step & lamp brackets. The carriage has been used for three phase competitions as well as exercise.
It is in good condition but has the usual paint chips on wheels and a few nicks in the tyres from normal use. There is slight damage to the covering of the backrest (mice) on driver's seat which can easily be covered or taped over.

Harewood Spindle Back Gig
Harewood Spindle Back Gig, black and red, wheels lined red and gold. Built in the early eighties then completely renovated by Eugene Larkin, later in that decade. 54” 16 spoke wheels. Good condition. 31” between shafts at back. 22” between tug stops. Bar to tug stops 53” but tug stops can be moved 5” forward to give more length. Ground to top of dash board 60” when level.
Lined red and gold. Patent on shafts need replacing for top level showing. Good vehicle to clean as only rein rail, whip holder and hub caps in brass.
Sprung loaded trace hooks so can be used with breast collar if needed.
