Ralli Cart with Lamps
2 wheel Ralli Car to suit 15.2-16.2hh made by Underwoods of Jersey (probably one of the last vehicles made on the Island before the occupation in World War II). This varnished vehicle has been restored to County standard and has nickel metal fittings. Shafts have been widened to take small draft horse but can easily be moved back to original settings for a standard horse. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase such an amazing vehicle. Vehicle price includes nickel original lamps. More photos available.
Height of wheels - 57 inches. Tugstop to ground - 41 inches. Distance from body of carriage to tugstops - 63 inches. Distance from sprung trace hook to tugstops - 53 1/2 inches. Total length of shafts from trace hook - 74 1/2 inches. Width of shafts - 30 inches. Width of shafts are 30" at the adjust width. Shafts can be returned back to the original settings to take a normal (non-draft) horse with ease.
The reason the shafts are so wide is that we brought the rear of the shafts in to make the front of the shafts wider for my Breton draft horses. It is a very simple procedure of changing the fittings back to the original place to move the shafts back for a 'normal' size horse, which you will be able to see in the below link to the photobucket site. There is a possiblity that the vehicle could be delivered to Hampshire at the end of March 2012 for an extra £300.

Harewood Spindle Back Gig
Harewood Spindle Back Gig, black and red, wheels lined red and gold. Built in the early eighties then completely renovated by Eugene Larkin, later in that decade. 54 16 spoke wheels. Good condition. 31 between shafts at back. 22 between tug stops. Bar to tug stops 53 but tug stops can be moved 5 forward to give more length. Ground to top of dash board 60 when level.
Lined red and gold. Patent on shafts need replacing for top level showing. Good vehicle to clean as only rein rail, whip holder and hub caps in brass.
Sprung loaded trace hooks so can be used with breast collar if needed.

Spider Phaeton
Spider Phaeton single horse carriage. This carriage was built in 2005 for me by Chr van den Heuvel & Zonen of Holland. It is dark green in colour with cream coach lines and brass fittings. There is a spares box situated below the grooms seat behind the driver. The dashboard and mud guards are of black leather and the seat upholstery is brown/tan leather. Hub cap spanner and spare reflectors in spares box. Front & rear disc brakes, plus parking brake.
The vehicle has been successfully shown in private driving classes (Royal London, Edenbridge & Oxted, Heathfield and London Harness Horse Parade) but predominantly used for dressage and cones at BHDTA driving events. The axles are 138 cm wide but are not adjustable.
To purchase a new similar vehicle from the manufacturer will now cost approximately £15,000.00. Carriage available now.
