Carrier for Bennington Fun Bug
A carrier designed to take a Bennington Bug (pony size). Made to fit easily onto the back of an Ifor Williams horse trailer.
With the aid of two ramps the Bug can be loaded and unloaded by one person. A few adjustments have to be made to the trailer, but this doesn't affect its primary use.
It's no longer necessary to have two vehicles to tow the horse and vehicle. This carrier is lightweight, easy to manage and store when not in use. Made by an agricultural engineer but never used.

Mercedes 1983 (813) under 7.5tonnes six horse lorry for sale. Partitioned in two sets of three with side ramps and separate grooms and day living compartments. Brilliant engine in good order, rebuilt by Huish engineering only a year or so before parked up and little used. Excellent for travelling mares and stallions in same lorry. Suit stud, showing, polo, pony racing or large family with lots of ponies.
Dimensions are total length 27ft, total height 10ft 6ins and total width a shade under 8ft. No current MOT or tax but practically unused since tested in late 2008 so should pass easily. Big lorry but easily driven by 5ft 4in lady driver.

Bedford Horsebox- Updated
Bedford horsebox, 7.5t, non HGV. Our trusty 1982 Bedford horsebox is reluctantly for sale due to a change in circumstances. This is a coachbuilt box not a conversion having had only 7 keepers from new. Serviced and tested last year, went straight through the test with the VOSA testers commenting on how clean she was.
The problem we have arose when I changed jobs, I now work on Sundays and my wife doesn't have a licence to drive this type of vehicle so here she is for sale. Stalled for 3 horses, with internal lights, unfitted small living area other than full height cupboard wardrobe and cut through to cab and access to rear via living.
Completely sound mechanically and body wise not a rusty rot box like many others just needs some soap and water as she has stood for a while since I changed jobs! No power steering but has never bothered us. Tested until Feb 29th but only covered 96 miles since last test!

Ford Transit horsebox 1985. We have had box for approx 5 years and although old is 100% reliable and has never let us down and we are out and about most weekends. We have a 14.2hh pony but it is stalled for 2 and we have also had a 13.2hh and 12.2hh in at same time.
It has a living area with oven, grill, hob and sink. It also has a 12 volt lighting system. Above the luton is a sleeping area for 2/3. We had a new engine put in when we got the box which was a 2 litre td taken from a t reg transit with about 50k on clock.
It is cheap to insure approx £160 per year fully comp and has 5 month tax and 10 months MOT.
