2 results found in The reliable, gentle and calm temperament of the Dartmoor pony make them an ideal children's pony. Height to not exceed 12.2hh with minimal white markings. A very good looking pony, sturdily built yet with quality. Not to be confused with the Dartmoor Hill Pony. Advertise your Dartmoor for only £6 until sold.
Mitchelcombe Nutmeg, 12.1hh registered Dartmoor mare, 8 years old, fully passported with the Dartmoor Society. Teeth and farrier up to date and great with both. Loads on box or trailer. Has been shown frequently and always in the ribbons and trophies and qualified for Ponies UK three times, possible HOYS prospect! Nutmeg loves hacking, jumping and beach rides, she literally goes on and on.
Don't let her show pony looks fool you, Nutmeg is a tough pony who lives in or out and is not afraid of work, she is a good little weight carrier as I have ridden her no problem at 12 stone. Would make a great lead rein or second pony as she is very fast. She has had a foal in the past and proved to be a lovely mummy. She has done pony club and hunted with previous owners but that was a while ago.
Nutmeg has been my daughters best friend and is very sadly outgrown sooner than we thought so needs to move on and give some other child the amazing memories and experiences she's given our baby. This truly is a heartbreaking sale so please on hoof kickers or time wasters. Tack and rugs negotiable.

Corndonford Pebble and Corndonford Qutie, pair of black Dartmoor driving ponies, 5 years and 4 years old, full sisters. They have done an indoor driving event last winter and went really well. They stable up at side of a lorry at shows and cope with the atmosphere of a busy show.
They have potential as a matching pair for private driving as they have nice paces or driving trials prospect. They stand at 11.3hh which isn't big enough for what I bought them for. Both are good in traffic and have done road work.
Unshod at the moment but are good to shoe, they are fully vaccinated and wormed to date. They haven't been worked since July so would need bringing back into it which wouldn't be any problem. They are not suitable for a novice driver as they are still young green ponies. Pebbles has had mild sweet itch this year but is under control now.
