Shropshire Driving Days - Updated
5 days of glorious carriage driving in the beautiful South Shropshire countryside from the 24th - 28th July. Routes are planned on largely quiet country lanes, through pretty villages, over forestry tracks and estate grassland and average about 20 miles per day. We stop for a leisurely lunch in wonderful locations on hilltops and by castles.
You follow a well marked route at your own pace with everyone meeting up for lunch. We can provide stabling, you can put up an electric corral, camping on site or there are some lovely local B&B's. Our caterers will provide picnic lunches, afternoon tea and evening meal in the village hall.
To attend you must be a BDS member and agree to follow our common sense safety policy. You can drive as many days as you wish. Numbers are limited so book in early.

Hereford Spring Carriage Show
The Hereford Spring Carriage Show (run by the Hereford & District Driving Group) to be held at a new venue for this year: Hampton Court, Nr Leominster, Herefordshire on Sunday 9th May 2010. Lots of classes for everyone to enjoy including showing classes: Novice, Disabled, Junior, Veterans, Private Driving, Exercise Vehicle, Reg Welsh, Coloured and a lunchtime spectacle for everyone to enter the Concours d'Elegance class.
We have also secured Osborne and Victoria Food Qualifiers. The first class will start at 9.45am. We have a Fun ring for non showing people which incorporates turnout, presentation, obstacles, skills and a section to negotiate a cones course.

Kent Horse Fair & Auction
Kent horse Fair & Auction. 10th & 11th April 2010. Fair and auction open to the public. Small items entry fee £2 (e.g. tack, horse rugs, etc...) no buyers fee.
Auctioning of horses, ponies, carts, harnesses and boxes etc. Traditional gypsy horses and wagons. Trade stalls welcome, auction starts at 1:30pm Sun 11th, ring for details.

Somerset Driving Club
Do you enjoy carriage driving? Would you like to meet more people just like you? Then why not join "the Old Somerset Driving Club".
We are a friendly club of all ages from children to grandparents who all enjoy the same thing! We meet regularly for pleasure drives and also have a get together one evening a month in a local pub. Dyfed Carriage Club. This is an exciting new carriage driving club serving South and West Wales.
If you are interested in any aspect of the world of the harness horse, from breeding through to leisure driving, showing, driving trials, commercial work, training, vehicles and history, then this is the club for you!
We meet the first Monday in every month at the Whitemill Inn, Whitemill, twixt Carmarthen and Nantgaredig off the A40 at 7.30pm for 8.00pm with regular guest speakers planned.
