Professor is a handsome 16hh, 10-year-old registered Standardbred who has recently retired from a successful harness racing career with us after many enjoyable years on the track. We are now looking for his forever ridden home. I personally broke him to ride, and he has been an absolute pleasure from day one. He is a true gentleman with a fantastic temperament, eager to please and genuinely enjoys his work.
Professor is just as sensible and well-mannered in company as he is on his own. He is forward yet reliable, and about as close to bombproof as a horse can be. Under saddle, he has never paced for me, and when racing he only paced when hobbled, making him a straightforward and enjoyable ride.

Coppathorne Isabella, 7 year old Welsh d buckskin mare, standing around 14hh. Strawberry is a very easy mare to have around, she bred us a lovely cremello colt last year.
Before having her foal she was driving single and as a pair, basic riding, hacking around the roads. Very good with traffic, etc... Not spooky. Has been out with the mares all winter ,came in today chucked the harness on and long reined her around the roads.
She's is good to catch in large fields, loads straight away, good for the farrier although hasn't worn shoes since before her foal but regularly trimmed. Went to the Ford forest couple years ago, everyone was driving her and riding through the river. Whilst she is in we will carry on doing a bit with her but her price will increase!
