EVERYDAY LEATHER HARNESS

  • Strongly constructed  to give a durable working harness
  • First grade oak bark tanned English leather
  • All buckles and stress points are handstitched to give a smart and strong harness
  • The bridle has a lined and raised noseband and cupped blinkers
  • Double weight traces.
  • Optional brown or tan leather
    and/or white metal fittings.

Everyday Leather Harness

BRIDLE -with well cupped blinkers. Nose band lined and raised. 
REINS -Traditional plain brown leather.
BREASTCOLLAR -Swelled over bearing surface and well padded.  Traces being a double weight hide.
BREECHING -Full with twin loin straps and complete with trace carriers and separate soft stuffed crupper.
PAD -Fully lined and wool flocked with fixed arch and proper terrets.  Double weight back band and traditional tugs.

MARATHON HARNESS

  • Similar in appearance to the Everyday harness
  • Additional strength and padding as required for cross country use
  • The reins have rubber weave handparts
  • The breastcollar is swelled for a large bearing surface
  • The traces are  web reinforced
  • Optional quick release fittings and/or tilbury tugs.

COMMERCIAL HARNESS
Made from first grade British tanned hides and available with a choice of stainless steel or chrome plate on brass fittings. This set is of a suitable weight for the heavy usage expected of it, but still retains a traditional style. Supplied with breastcollars as standard it is also available with full collars. The bridle headpiece is complete with thread for plumes. Available in choice of plain black or brown leather. We can include personal preferences in the style of the harness.

SHOW WAGON HARNESS

  • Specifically designed to complement the horse
  • Superfine breastcollar
  • Sewn in traces
  • The bridle is fine with a rolled throat and winkerstay
  • There is a fine pad with tilbury tugs and a separate shaped girth
  • For hackneys the set is supplied with overcheck and tail stand.

ENGLISH GIG / PRESENTATION HARNESS

  • First grade oak bark tanned English leather
  • Available in a choice of patent or plain black leather
  • The bridle has a fancy noseband, brass browband and rosettes
  • The collar is padded and lined on both the breast and the wither, with a martingale. 
  • The pad is fully shaped with a saddle seat and    recessed stitching on the backband and tugs. 
  • There is a full breeching with shaped loin strap, trace carriers and a stuffed dock. -
