He has only recently been slowly introduced back into ridden work as he has just been a big field pet for the past few years with previous owners. He's still very much a project & green for his age. not a lot of miles on his clock, shows a great attitude to learn. Never bucked, reared or bolted. Sad sale of my lovely cheeky gelding, Jack. He has sadly grown too big for me so that I am unable to continue with the further education that he needs and deserves. He was re-backed in 2020 and has been used for gentle hacking around the fields and lanes, alone and in company.
He is still very green and so is not a novice ride but learns quickly. Perfect at the mounting block, good in traffic (but not keen on tractors!). He responds well to clicker training and loves his scratches! He can be a little pushy when fed treats by hand. He is wonderful when worked consistently but can be silly when very fresh and bored.
He is ridden bitless or in snaffle and is barefoot with boots. Good for farrier and vet, up to date with all vaccines, teeth, etc... Would suit someone as a summer project, eager to work him further, improve his canter transition, teach him to jump and have a lot of fun with him!

Copper, 11.2hh Gelding
Companion home only, this is because due to his past we just don't know if he would be safe under saddle or not. Copper came to me at the start of 2023. He’s a very nervous boy but once he gets to know you he puts all his trust into you and is really sweet and loves having some attention. I’m not 100% sure on Copper's past but going off his behaviour I’m guessing he’s had a tough life.
Previously he has been given away for being uncatchable but this is something we have worked hard on using natural horsemanship techniques and he now really enjoys his training sessions. Once caught he has perfect in hand manners when being led. He will leave the field without his companions and he has been left in the field by himself before with no issue.
We are working on getting him used to having his legs touched. I had him sedated to have his feet trimmed just to make it a more positive experience. He has been living with mares but previously has lived with geldings too.
